Sign up for Setapp

Setapp gives you access to 260+ apps. You can try them all for free during the 7-day trial period. There are no additional charges, paid updates, or in-app purchases — just fully functional apps.

Create a Setapp account 

It takes just a few steps: 

  1. Go to the Setapp registration page to start creating your account.

    Notes: 
    - If you’re specifically looking for a Setapp Membership subscription, you can start with the Setapp Membership join link for a quicker setup. This link is also available on setapp.com when you click Try free for 7 days on the main page.

    - To use the "iOS" subscription plan, starting registration on setapp.com from your iPhone or iPad is essential. 

    - To get 15 AI credits during your trial, switch to an AI+ plan as soon as you can.

  2. Enter your email address.

    You can also sign up using your Google or Apple account. Click the relevant buttons to continue.

  3. Setapp will send a one-time code to the email address you provided (or the one linked to your Apple or Google account). Copy the code, paste it into the fields on the screen, and click Sign in. If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder.

  4. Agree to the policies, and click Continue.

What's next?

1. Install Setapp desktop

After registration, you’ll see a success page where you can download and open the Setapp desktop app. While your Setapp account lets you manage your subscription, invoices, devices, and more, the Setapp desktop app is used to manage and run apps.

Note: If you sign up using the Setapp Membership join link, you’ll be taken directly to the billing period selection page. This lets you skip a few steps and proceed straight to choosing your billing period and adding payment details.

2. Complete your registration

Open the Setapp desktop and choose an app you want to try first. 

  • Get with Membership means you’ll need to sign up for a Setapp Membership to access the app.
  • Buy Now means you can get the app separately as a single app.

Once you decide, click the button and proceed with the steps. You'll need to add your payment details and, if you chose it, customize your Setapp Membership plan.

3. Use apps

You’re all set. Browse, install, and start using apps.
