Free trial period

Setapp offers a free 7-day trial period to all newly-arrived users; it begins when you start using Setapp. During the trial, you can use all the apps on Setapp for free. You also get 3 AI credits for AI usage in your trial or 15 AI credits if you subscribe to an AI+ plan.

Note: To try the mobile apps on your iPhone or iPad, please choose a plan that includes slots for iOS devices — "iOS," "Mac + iOS," "Power User," "AI Expert," or "Family."

To start your trial, follow these steps: 

1. Sign up for Setapp.
   To find more registration information, read Sign up for Setapp.
2. Install Setapp on your Mac and sign in.

When the trial ends...

When your trial ends, the mobile apps installed during the trial will lose activation on your iOS devices without the correct subscription and will continue working in the free mode.

Continue using Setapp

If you enjoyed Setapp and want to keep on using it, go to the Subscription page of your Setapp account to:

• make sure your payment details are specified correctly, and
• choose the suitable subscription plan.

Stop using Setapp (cancel trial)

You must cancel your trial subscription if you don't want to continue using Setapp after or during the trial. It's free of charge. After cancelation, Setapp and its apps will no longer be available.  

Extend using Setapp for free

You can also extend the trial period by inviting your friends to Setapp and getting an extra month for everyone who joins. Your invitation links are available in your Setapp account.
