About promo codes

The promo code is convenient for getting acquainted with Setapp in better conditions. Promo codes are only available for new users. Setapp promo codes can:

• provide you with a discount for your first payment and/or
• extend your trial period. 

Usually, you can get these codes from famous bloggers or our marketing specialists.

Note: Promo codes apply only to new users.

Activate a promo code

So, you’ve got a secret promo code, and now you wonder how to activate it. Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Redeem Promo Card page.
2. Enter your promo code and click Continue.
   
   
3. Now, you can create your Setapp account. You can use your Apple account (previously Apple ID) or Google account to sign up. Alternatively, enter your email, password, and your name. Click "Create account."
   That’s it! Now, you’re a proud Setapp member.

What’s next?

Once you’re done, you can start your trial! Read thoroughly about what benefits your promo code brings. It can give you either an extended trial or a discount for the first month of your "Mac" subscription plan.

Note: If you change the subscription plan at this stage, the promo code benefits will be canceled. However, if your extended trial or first-month (in some cases first-year) discount is over, you’re welcome to upgrade your subscription plan.
