You can change only the active plan. Please contact our support team to change your plan when your subscription is canceled or blocked.
You can find and view our subscription plans here.
Change subscription plan
If you'd like to switch to another subscription plan, do the following:
- Go to the Subscription page of your Setapp account and click "Manage subscription."
- Choose an appropriate subscription option and click "Continue."
- Confirm your decision.
Before you change the plan, please read carefully how the change will apply.
Switching to a more expensive plan
The change will apply immediately, and you will be charged a difference between your current and new plans for the rest of the period. For example, if your current fee is $9.99, your new plan costs $14.99, and you switched 2 weeks after the last charge, you will be additionally charged $2.50 ($14.99 - $9.99 = $5/2 = $2.50).
Switching to a cheaper plan
You'll continue using your more expensive plan until the next billing period. Then, you will be charged the new fee and get the new plan.
Switching to a more expensive plan and a new billing period
In Setapp, we provide two types of billing periods: monthly and annual. If you change both the billing period and the plan to more expensive, you'll use your current plan with the previous billing period until the next billing period. Then, you'll get the new plan and new billing period and will be charged according to them.
Note: You don't get another free trial if you change your subscription plan.
