Delete your Setapp account

If you decide to permanently delete your Setapp account, please note that this action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you won’t be able to restore it or access Setapp services anymore.

Read this before deletion

Before deleting your Setapp account, take a moment to make sure everything is wrapped up. Once the account is deleted, you won’t be able to access your apps or recover any data.

Checklist before you continue

• Save or transfer any data you want to keep from all installed appsю
• Make sure you’ve canceled Setapp Membership or individual app subscriptions.
• If you have a one-time purchase license, contact support@setapp.com to request license revocation before deleting your account.

After the removal

Keep in mind what happens after account deletion:

• You won’t be able to sign in to Setapp or its apps.
• All subscriptions and licenses linked to your account will become unavailable.
• Any pending payments, refunds, or reimbursements may no longer be processed.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete your account

1. Open the Account Settings page of your Setapp account and expand the Delete account section.
2. Click Delete Setapp account.
3. Enter the one-time code sent to your email address.
4. Click Delete account to confirm.

Once your account is deleted, you’ll receive a final confirmation message in your inbox.
