If you're reading this article, something must've gone wrong with Setapp for you. We are sorry to hear that. Before proceeding with refunds, may we suggest you contact our support team or submit a support request? We're trying to address any issues as fast as we can.
To request a refund, submit a support ticket. Before applying for a refund, make sure all of the following three conditions are fulfilled:

You canceled your subscription.
Note: Uninstalling Setapp doesn't terminate a subscription. Learn more in Cancel subscription.

You didn't install or open any app from Setapp in the billing period for which you applied for a refund.
However, you can install and open the Setapp desktop to get information about the apps or remove them. This will not be considered an obstacle to obtaining a refund.
- You apply for a refund no later than 30 days after the last payment.
You can always reactivate your subscription, even if you've previously applied for a refund.
