If you're reading this article, something must've gone wrong with Setapp for you. We are sorry to hear that. Before proceeding with a refund, may we suggest contacting our support team or submitting a support request? We're trying to address any issues as fast as we can.
To request a refund, submit a support ticket. Before applying for a refund, make sure all of the following three conditions are fulfilled:
-
You canceled your subscription.
Note: Uninstalling Setapp doesn't terminate a subscription. Learn more in Cancel subscription.
-
You didn't install or open any app from Setapp in the billing period for which you applied for a refund.
However, you can install and open the Setapp desktop to get information about the apps or remove them. This will not be considered an obstacle to obtaining a refund.
Note: Refund eligibility may vary depending on your country of residence. See our Refund Policy for details.
-
You apply for a refund no later than
- 30 days after the last payment for annual subscriptions and one-time purchases;
- 14 days after the last payment for all other subscriptions.
You can always reactivate your subscription, even if you've previously applied for a refund.
To learn more, please refer to the customer’s Terms of Use. The Trial Period section could be particularly helpful for refunds.
