Update Setapp Mobile and its apps

Important: Setapp Mobile sunset notice

Setapp Mobile was sunset on February 16, 2026, due to evolving and complex business terms that no longer aligned with Setapp’s business model.

All Setapp Mobile apps were removed from the platform on that date. Any data that was not transferred prior to the sunset is no longer accessible.

This article is no longer actively maintained and is provided for reference only.

Note: You must be located in the EU territory to get the updates.

By default, Setapp Mobile and its apps are updated automatically and seamlessly in the background.

Set manual updates

If you want to turn off the automatical updates and accept them manually, do the following:

When Setapp Mobile update is released, and you want to update your Setapp Mobile, do the following:

Setapp Mobile is now updated. Please note that the update is only applied to Setapp Mobile itself and not to Setapp Mobile apps you have installed.

Open Setapp Mobile and go to Apps.
The apps with ready updates have the Download arrow . Click it to start the update.

The Setapp Mobile app is now updated.
