We’re introducing Setapp Mobile together with subscription plans in euros exclusively for EU subscribers. See About Setapp Mobile to learn why we're releasing a new product.

To use Setapp Mobile, your iPhone must run iOS 17.4 or newer, and your Apple account (previously Apple ID) country must be set to an EU member. You can use your apps worldwide but install and update apps only from the EU territory.

To ensure a smooth release process, we invite it into three stages:

1. Invite-only beta: It lasted from May 15 till September 16 and was available to people who had joined the waiting list. 
2. Beta: It started on September 17. Afterward, we'll collect all your opinions to release a stable product you truly enjoy.
3. Official release: The date is to be updated. We’ll release a stable version of Setapp Mobile and introduce subscription plans in euros.

Notes:

• Mind that all the fees in this article are listed without taxes. VAT differs for each country.

• You can use Setapp Mobile only on iPhones, not iPads.

Beta

Start date: September 17

Prerequisites to use Setapp Mobile:

• Your Apple account (previously Apple ID) assigned to an EU state
• iOS 17.4 or newer
• You're located in the EU

Note: If you leave the EU, you can continue using your apps for one month, after which you'll be signed out of the Setapp apps. You can install new Setapp Mobile apps and receive updates only while in the EU.

Starting with the beta, Setapp Mobile will be available within three plans: 

• iOS Advanced
• Power User
• AI Expert

Existing Setapp subscribers from the EU

EU subscribers of "Power User" and "AI Expert"

If you currently have an active "Power User" or "AI Expert" subscription, you automatically get free access to Setapp Mobile. Note that the set of apps differs between Setapp and Setapp Mobile, so we encourage you to try our new product and new apps. 

To install Setapp Mobile, do the following:

1. Open the Invitation to Setapp Mobile page on your iPhone and tap Try Now.
   Alternatively, go to your Setapp account and tap Setapp Mobile.

2. Tap Get Setapp Mobile and follow the instructions you'll see on the screen. 
   Note: When you see a pop-up message asking you to approve the developer in settings, please proceed confidently to approve it. Then, go back to proceed with the installation.

Now, you can find Setapp Mobile among the apps on your iPhone.

Notes:

• You can only switch to the "iOS Advanced" plan if you renew your subscription.
• One app on one iPhone must be activated either by Setapp or by Setapp Mobile.

EU subscribers of other Setapp plans

If you joined the invite-only beta and had free access to Setapp Mobile, it will discontinue starting on September 17.

To use Setapp Mobile, we encourage you to change your plan to "iOS Advanced," "Power User," or "AI Expert." This possibility is available to subscribers of the "iOS," "Mac," "Educational," "Two Macs," "Mac+iOS," and "AI Enthusiast" plans.

Subscribers of the "Family" and "Setapp for Teams" plans cannot switch to a plan that includes Setapp Mobile. To use Setapp Mobile, we can only suggest registering a new account if this fits you.

What will happen when the beta ends?

Then, we'll announce the official release of Setapp Mobile for EU subscribers. Setapp Mobile will continue with the "iOS Advanced," "Power User," and "AI Expert" plans. EU subscribers of other plans can upgrade to "iOS Advanced," "Power User," and "AI Expert" plans to continue using Setapp Mobile. We’ll notify you at least one week before the beta ends.

New Setapp subscribers from the EU

We offer new EU subscribers a 7-day free trial of the "iOS Advanced" plan in euros to try Setapp Mobile. This plan covers all Setapp Mobile apps and all iOS apps from Setapp. 

To proceed, see Install Setapp Mobile.

After you subscribe to the “iOS Advanced” plan, look for Setapp Mobile among the apps on your iPhone.

• You can continue using your current plan and pay in the same currency.

• You can upgrade to "iOS Advanced," "Power User," or "AI Expert" to continue using Setapp Mobile. Subscribers of other plans will be signed out of Setapp Mobile and its apps.
